Our client is a multinational automotive parts manufacturer where provides a range of services, products and solutions to automotive and industrial technology. We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious Senior Marketing Manager (APAC)  to join the team. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key part of the company’s operations in Thailand and in the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure alignment between business development and customer activities; addressing market-specific requirements of the product and service portfolio
  • Responsible for sales and marketing activities to ensure profitability; manage sales prices and commercial policies including budgets, CAPEX, forecasting, cost controls. Review financial statements and data to improve efficiency.
  • Support other departments in business improvement and implementing corrective measures to meet objectives.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance and product profitability by product groups; identify unaddressed potential and formulate corrective measures with sales and key account management.
  • Responsible for commercial policies and price management: analyse monthly pricing reports to identify improvements; analyse target sales prices and minimum sales prices within the region based to optimise profitability.
  • Ensure price harmonisation across markets to avoid re-imports; implement methods & tools for price and margin management; enable introduction of global pricing software.
  • Drive regional sales team for product group-specific sales in coordination with the regional sales director.
  • Plan, coordinate and manage product-specific sales activities for key accounts; analyse market and competitor pricing in the region.
  • Develop and implement sales concepts to realise business opportunities and enhance market share.
  • Ensure overall brand awareness with communication and promotion activities.
  • Lead the customer quality team. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, including solutions & regional strategy plans.
  • Regularly report customer claim-handling results, and continuously improve technical services.
  • Plan and perform technical services, including customer training and support to strengthen and develop a professional technical service team.
  • Initiate and transfer technical analysis reports and know-how to build-up a technical messenger database.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration with 8 years of experience in marketing or sales management
  • Strong technical knowledge of automotive parts
  • Experience with automotive products, sales channels, and customer service especially marketing, communications, and pricing management
  • Strong report-writing skills & business correspondence. Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from stakeholders.
  • Skilled negotiator, analytical and strategic thinker who is process- and structure-oriented.
  • A team player and problem-solver, with leadership and conflict resolution skills. An effective networker
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and ERP, such as SAP.
  • Fluent in both Thai and English or a third language
  • Familiar working in international environment with cross-cultural and remote teams
